Typewritten and signed letter, written from "62 State St., Rochester, N.Y.," and mailed on 16 Oct. 1894. Adams writes in response to a letter from Barton O. Aylesworth requesting information on his life. Adams briefly outlines his life and states, "To say more would be to burden you with useless information, - and to run the risk of telling nice things about myself." Also included is the envelope used to send the letter.
